Everybody want more updates, but what i think is just as important is the quality of the clips that could be a lot higher.

The regular clips is in my opinion not good enough and therefore there is a giant leap between them and the wonderful High Definition clips you release two of each a month.

I just think that the regular clips could be a little bigger and with i higher resolution , but i guess you save them for the DVD's ?

How is this for an idea?

Get rid of the two full size clips per month (keep them for the DVD Versions) and replace the current sized clips on offer with larger clips. Lets check the sizes.

and replace them with any of the following possible sizes in the attachments below.

The Kissmegirl team might not need to increase prices for server costs.

Another option is to rather then having two full sized clips, replace them with medium clips.

I, for one, much prefer quality over quantity. Would it be nice to have more updates? Of course! But, in my opinion, not at the expense of quality of talent/production. Thanks for all the great input guys, it really helps to have you guys dish out the ideas. We also feel that quality is better than quantity, but we certainly want to offer more as we more forward. There are some issues with raising production and it's not just about budgets. We do want to get good girls and not take to many chances on unknown girls just for the sake of throwing up a new scene. I think a big problem in the adult industry is the fact that so many of the companies crank out stuff just to meet their goals, it becomes more about just getting it done than about getting the content you really want. We also face location issues because we're small, not on set for a long day, so many places will boot us out for a bigger shoot, locations can be an issue for us sometimes. So there are issues to face when we do raise the production, but when it's time we will make it happen.

Anyway, your clip ideas are interesting, how about the ideas below.

Try to raise the quality of the standard clips a little, keep the 2 Fullscreen's each month.

Really raise the quality of the standard clips, do away with 2 Fullscreen's each month.

Keep the standard clips as they are, but release the Fullscreen Version of the new scene the next week and have it available for 2 weeks or until the next update. This would allow monthly members to get the Hi Res Version of each new scene one week after release. If we do this I would not see a reason to raise the quality of the standard clips but perhaps we could alittle.

Which idea is best? Of course bandwidth cost is always an issue and I really don't want to raise our price to cover it.

most other kissing sites tend to show more picture sets then videos.

now i know that allot of guys arnt paticular with picture sets but i "think" they are cheaper to shoot, and obviously easier on the bandwidth.

maybe expand by offering more picture sets as updates? keep with 2 new videos a month.

heck that seems to be all that girlskissing.co.uk website does. (i'm not a fan of them ropin ya in for 3 months though)

I like alternative 1 the most.

As it is now i like the regular clips, but i allways want the best scenes in HD because i seem to watch the HD clips rather than the regular clips because they don't look as good on my tv.

Anyways, back to my point, never said I prefered quantity over quality but I know that if you do at least 3 new scenes per month you will get more traffic to this site and people will stay longer. Now I know that there are a couple of people here who are devoted to this site and don't mind the 2 scenes per month but just like any other business, traffic will pay the bills. I am pretty sure you have stats from your server that tells you how many people renew their membership either every month or only every 2-3 months, only you know what is best for your company but no doubt with more money equals better production and top notch girls.

I just wanted to point out that we're looking into playing around with the clip sizes, I will let you know if we make any changes. Right now, I am leaning toward maybe increasing quality a little on the standard clips and making the fullscreen ones available sooner for the new scenes.

i am definitely all about quality over quantity.

every other site on the net will have 50 updates a month and maybe a few of them that are any good. you dont get a lot of updates on this site(if you sign up at a certain period you might not get any at all) but the quality is tremendous. 2 to 1 ratio for quality scenes. no other website comes anywhere near that.

i made a thread about the girls you should keep coming back. that list will hopefully grow and you'll have more variety in talent but dont feel like you need to go get a bunch of filler chics just to increase your content. stick with the tried and true and break new talent in with the established girls as kissing partners like with the brynn/tori update.

if ya play your cards right you're gonna have a hell of a site.

Hey Guys,

Here's what we're thinking of doing. Each time a new scene is added to the site, that scene will be available as a fullscreen download the following week, that download will be available for two weeks. If you miss that two week window then you would have to catch that scene as a full screen download later on. We would also have another older scene available each month as a full screen download. Of course, all scenes would be available at all times in our standard 320X240 video size. We're just trying to find a way to offer new scenes in the larger size a little sooner. Tell us what you think.

At the very least, we're going to raise the quality of the standard clips but keep them the same size, and continue to offer 2 scenes per month as fullscreen downloads.

When we make a new scene available as a fullscreen download it will probably only be available that way for about two weeks, unlike the older scenes that we currently rotate and make available as fullscreen downloads for a month. I think that this is a good compromise, hopefully so do you. Thanks again for starting this thread and making us take steps to keep getting better.

Does the 150% increase mean that the size will be bigger than "your standard 320X240 video size"? and if so would you be able to go back and increase all the other current clips to that new size?

I also think that the big clip what was due to be replaced on 15/9/08 is still up.

Hey,

The clip will still be 320X240, but will have a higher bit rate so that when it's enlarged in windows media player it will maintain it's qaulity better, it's sort the way that HotMovies works, you can control how big you want to try to make, I think that viewing at 150% is best which makes a pretty large window. It's the best compromise we can make while keeping bandwidth in mind. It's also important for members to have their media player set up properly so that the clip is displayed at the proper size.
Can't do anything about the older clips, that would require starting all over with rendering.
The new download will be up shortly.

Hey Turbinez,

Thanks for all the insight!! We want to continue to add scenes with some of the story ideas/lead in's, we will continue to mix those in but we also have to remember that many members have communicated that they would just prefer to see scenes without any idea or story, so we have to shoot for a mixture of things. I know that you love lots of crazy tongue play, but not everyone does, some say they like JAV, others say they hate it, so it's a challenge to satisfy everyone.
As far as selling clips is concerned, I don't see that happening, the members based site is working for us and we will have more updates as they are possible, but we must make sure we're smart about growing. At some point we may sell individual fullscreen downloads. We consider this a long term project and we have always said that we want it to be the best girls kissing site ever and that's still our goal.
We have stuck with WMV because even with Mac users, about 98% of the surfers who visit our site are using a PC, so that's hard to ignore.
Hang in there, we're still listening.

i see,

i've been on another kissing site that had lots of that stuff. the problem was that the camera guy would zoom right in on their mouths. i like to at least see the girls whole face when they're kissing. plus it seemed like the sound was dubbed. dubbed sound is a NO NO!

I havent been on the forum in a while but still enjoying all of the DVDs I've purchased with more to buy next week.
But about JAV. I tired a few DVDs from a site that offers a huge variety of JAV stuff: lesbian, lactation, MILF etc. However they all have digitial blocking of genitals. Even tho the owner says it doesnt spoil the viewers enjoyment I disagree. They say that for copyright reasons they cannot sell them without the blocking. The 2 I purchased werent really gross insofar as kissing and tongue-play were concerned but in other areas & genres they do gravitate to gross areas. But I used to buy Japanese stuff from a mail order place that was upstairs from a comic book store. Their product was sold with the digital blocking removed so that there was a hint of blurring but really pretty clear. I went back to their website recently and nowadays they are offering older, not necessarily classic U.S. product in addition to JAV + other non-XXX stuff.
As far as my membership is concerned my concern is that some time late next year I'll have purchased everything available at my current rate of 2 older titles & the new release each month. Then the buy one get one free offer would no longer be applicable unless I dont renew my membership monthly, but every other month or so.
As a well-satisfied consumer of KissMeGirl product I'm hoping for increased membership which will lead to increased frequency of new product.

Hey guys,

The latest scene added to the site, AnnMarie and Alyssa is created in our new clip size, 500X278, it quite larger than the previous clips, so hopefully that will go over well. If all goes as planned, all future scenes will be added at this resolution.

So when will you be adding older fullscreen scenes like you stated above?
